The Gift
of Honor.
The Gichiru story began not with a business plan, but with a search. A son, an engineer driven by the rigor of structural integrity, set out to find a gift worthy of his mother, Gichiru. She is a woman defined by “deep love” and the architect of some of Kenya’s most iconic cultural experiences.
What he found instead was a void. The market offered luxury that was either spiritually hollow or physically lacking the robustness required for the modern African executive. There was no bag that accessorized her without diminishing her. Nothing that felt “enough.”
In the typical fashion of African excellence, they stopped searching and started building. Together, the visionary mother and the engineer son created the Gichiru Lynn. Born out of a specific necessity. To provide the corporate African woman with a companion that matches her stature, respects her heritage, and refuses to be skimped on.
Every piece is handcrafted by our own artisans. No mass production. No cheaply sourced materials. Engineered to precision with full-grain Kenyan leather and gold coated hardware that clicks with intent.
“Luxury is to love deeply and to be loved deeply, daily.”
